Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Solutions Engineer to join our team. In this role, you’ll bridge the gap between technical solutions and customer needs, playing a pivotal role in post-sales onboarding, support, and ongoing customer success.
The ideal candidate is a problem solver with exceptional communication skills, a strong technical aptitude, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences. You thrive on identifying root causes, digging deeper than surface-level fixes to create sustainable, impactful solutions.
What you’ll do
- Provide hands-on support during product setup, configuration, and integration.
- Troubleshoot and investigate customer challenges, ensure their concerns are heard, and proactively address issues.
- Guide customers toward best practices to maximize the value of the MonetizeNow platform.
- Solve customer needs with innovative, actionable solutions.
- Collaborate with CX Leads, Product, and Engineering to represent the voice of the customer and prioritize enhancements that matter most.
- Contribute to customer documentation and create scalable solutions to improve support.
- (Good to have) Perform analysis and implement solutions using tools like SQL.
- (Good to have) Write and deploy small fixes or enhancements in production to address bugs or improve functionality.
- (Good to have) Delve into processes across our product suite, including - Java/Kotlin codebase, JavaScript/React frontend, Logs and integrated connectors (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Netsuite, QuickBooks, Anrok, Avalara, Stripe).
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience
- 3+ years in a solutions engineering, technical consulting, or similar role.
- Proven ability to work directly with customers in a technical capacity.
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, and cloud-based software solutions.
- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Python and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM data object models.
- Basic knowledge of networking, databases, and system architecture.
Soft Skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build trust and maintain customer relationships.
- Proactive problem-solving mindset with a resourceful and self-driven approach.
- Passion for learning and developing expertise in the FinTech stack (Quoting, Billing, Payments, Tax, Accounting).
- Experience working with remote teams on complex software implementations.
